Rosie Perez

KimRosie Perez was born Rosa Maria Perez June 6, 1964. She is an American actress. Her first role in the role of Tina in Do the Right Thing (1989) was followed by White Men Can't jump (1992). Perez's performance on Fearless (1993) resulted in a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in addition to other awards. Perez's roles as a star in films include It Could Happen to You (1994) as well as The Road to El Dorado(2000), Pineapple Express (2007), as well as Birds of Prey (2018). She also won three Primetime Emmy Award nominations (in 1990-1994) in addition to another Emmy nomination (2020-present) for her performance as the Flight Attendant. She has been in stage plays on Broadway including The Ritz, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, and Fish in the Dark. In the 18th season, she was also a cohost on ABC's talk show The View. She was a student at Grover Cleveland High School, in the Ridgewood neighborhood of Queens. In 1999, her mother was in the middle class of Woodside Houses when she died from complications arising from AIDS.
