Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress Director Producer and vocalist. An attractive and intelligent actor, she is an inspiration to numerous Asian actors that want to break into Hollywood. She became famous after numerous popular characters in the series. For instance, in the Ally McBeal series, where she played Ling Woo the villainous character. Her new-found fame was translated into roles on the big screen with Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and several other films. The actress gave an impressive performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'RenIshii In Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Around the same time she also played key parts in other failed box office films such as Rise: Blood Hunter.
